Silence

Silence, when you look back in time
reminding you of something
and nothing you can do about it
but remain just silent.

Silence, when in a boring class
your clock tick-tocks
neither you can bunk, nothing good you can do
you then have to stay, silent.

Silence, when a mom watches
her kid going away from home
want to cry, express what she feels
but for the better future she remains, silent.

Silence, when a friend notices
his best-friend changing
things going worse
he chooses to be, silent

Silence, a simple word it may be
with a simple literal meaning
but when you search deep down
you will take the shelter of silence

Silence, a loudest cry for help
Or it may be, just being yourself
Silence at times it can mean anything
But ultimately I say, its just nothing..

The Present

Without knowing the content
I wanted to create a legend

And how tedious it can be
When you are suffering from an emotional spree

The present I got
Wrapping sarcastically to manipulate my thought

Curious to know the future in the box
But present lies, hiding all its stock

And how complicated the things goes
When past nudges and constantly pokes

But still I need to wait for the right time
Without any hint, without any sign

Devilish heart and curious mind
Please be quiet, Oh! Be quiet…

NOSTALGIC

It seems just yesterday when I entered this class
And how nostalgic the feeling cud be,when I entered room 1007 B

The first day in my colg I remember
My dad dropped me wid all advices and pamper

And den I saw faces, some of which I ‘ll never forget
And den I got frnds some of which I vil never be able to get

A different reputation it may be,as if now it matter
The first trip to mani square and life long chatter

Now as the days passed and we grew older
From fest,  fresher and nicco trips, we were also religious pandal hoppers

Treats, gifts and birthday bashes
And just like that, these 3 years passes

Bunking and eating out became part of our colg life
Some great ppl I got, wid some memories so bright

And how nostalgic, you imagine I feel
When again I entered that 1007 B

JUST ANOTHER DAY

lost in my thoughts
In not so boring class
The lazy afternoon
Now adding to my fuss

With a typical thinking pose
Thinking of lilies and rose

Friends sitting beside
Giggling, laughing and making noise

This may be just another day
People working and going their way

A just another day taken from our lives
A just another day added to our lives

A lazy afternoon
All blurring my mind
Leaving friends, places
And memories behind

And now almost when half of the day has past
I wonder how the time flies so fast

And teacher is still teaching
We all busy in our work
Laughing, giggling and shouting
And that’s how just another day passed..

A MOMENT

For a moment again, I thought about you
For a moment again, Had a tear for you
For a moment again, I tried to manipulate
For a moment again, I wanted to recapitulate

For a moment again, I saw your face
For a moment again, it hampered my pace
For a moment again, I lost the race
For a moment again, my heart beat raise

For a moment again, I didn’t wanted to win
For a moment again, I thought I did a sin
For a moment again, blamed it all on me
For a moment again, the old pain returns it seem

For a moment again, I felt alone in crowd
For a moment again, I am lost in my thought
For a moment again, I hated my self
For a moment again, the ocean appeared useless…

Trifling Trivial Fight

In a cold windy night

Of roaring waves and rising tide
An earthen lamp was lying
On a lonely side

It was sure to go out
So sure to die
Bt still the flame fought
For its death to glorify

What a fight that was
With roaring winds and rising tides
What a fight that was
With just the flame on one side

Lamp told flame to get back
To run for its life
Oil suggested it to hide
To be sure that it survive

Shouts and screams
 And loads of cry
Prayers and curses
And valour  and  joy

Finally the flame won
Finally it survived

But suddenly the lamp broke
And suddenly the oil spilled
The flame saw its death
Dancing gracefully in its win

It greeted the enemy death
With hands in welcoming gesture
For that ferocious fight
Is now what hardly matter

And then the flame died
But never got a peace of mind
It lied in its euphoric world
Far from the world so unkind

How worthless that fight seemed to be
How meager that glory was
Because when the flame died
It was due to the one it had pride

Churlish and Candied life

I sometimes wonder about my life
And yes, I am finally out of fear
For I procured people around
So caring and so dear

For I got many hands
To wipe my single tear
and when I peeped above my self made horizon
It was so enthralling, so clear

And yes I faced many thrashings
From the world so callous and unclear
But still this world is the nicest place to live in
If you are receptive and can bear

The harder you fall the higher you rise
Dreams maybe fretting, may shatter
For everyone fall on the same ground
But it’s the repercussion is what which matter

So keep adding the chocolate icing
To the cake you think as bitter
With every rising sun and every shining moon
I reckon you will make it sweeter...
